Logbook Servicing
Whenever you purchase a new vehicle, you are provided with a manufacturer’s warranty that will cover the cost of mechanical parts failures. This warranty is voided however if you do not have your vehicle serviced regularly by a certified mechanic, and record them in the vehicle’s logbook. Servicing is also a good idea in general, as maintenance is always cheaper than repairs.

Vehicle Inspections
Generally, if your car is more than five years old, you may need an e-safety check (previously called a pink slip) before you can renew your registration. When you get your renewal notice it will say whether you need to get an e-safety check or not. The safety check ensures that your vehicle meets the legal safety requirements to be driven on the roads of New South Wales.
If you’re bringing a vehicle into NSW which has never been registered in the state before, you will require an AUVIS Inspection (Authorised Unregistered Vehicle Inspection Scheme, formerly called a blue slip) before you can register it. The AUVIS inspection ensures the safety of an unregistered vehicle, while also verifying that it meets the design and identity standards of NSW road laws.

Brake Services

Air Conditioning
Driving in the summer without air conditioning can be unbearable in Australia, especially in heavy traffic. Your air conditioning is unique amongst your vehicle’s systems – it will degrade more from disuse than from use. The myriad rubber tubing and seals that make up your vehicle’s air conditioning system, dry up and crack if not used, allowing the refrigerant gas to leak out and rob your air conditioning of its cooling and heating efficiency.
